Uploads and processing

Media is uploaded to our server for processing. Inputs and temporary files are normally removed after processing or confirmed failure; unsafe or unconfirmed worker shutdown may delay deletion until safe recovery.

Results and expiry

Results expire after 30 minutes and active downloads can delay cleanup. Interrupted uploads expire after 15 minutes. Unconfirmed tasks are marked unknown, not failed.

Operational records

Operational records are kept in the active database for up to 30 days, with daily maintenance. Private backups are retained for 7 days after creation, so a record can remain in a backup for up to 37 days.

Analytics

Analytics excludes media filenames, contents and raw IP addresses. Daily session-based visitor estimates are approximate, not counts of people.

Aggregate page measurement also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, collects no personal identifiers and never receives your uploads; it records page views, visits, referrers, countries and, where the browser supports it, Web Vitals.

Cookies and sessions

Essential session cookies protect uploads and prevent request forgery. New tasks store a task-specific keyed authorization verifier for up to 30 days so the same anonymous session can check historical processing status after a restart. Clearing or losing the cookie removes access; historical results cannot be downloaded after recovery. Your browser may also store the identifier of your most recent task on this site so the tool page can offer to continue it after a refresh; this identifier works only together with the session cookie and grants access to nothing by itself.

Security records

Login protection stores a daily keyed hash of the trusted client address for up to two days; it is not used for analytics. Hosting and security logs may be separate from analytics.

Advertising

Advertising is currently disabled. Any future advertising activation requires real publisher authorization and applicable consent management.
