Editors

Vidosono Photo Editor runs the unmodified official web build of PhotoCraft v0.10.0, and Vidosono Video Editor runs the unmodified official web build of FilmCraft v0.9.0. Both projects are by the ArtCraft team and are dual-licensed under the MIT and Apache-2.0 licenses, which permit commercial use, modification and hosting. The license files are served unchanged for each editor (FilmCraft MIT, FilmCraft Apache-2.0), and each bundle ships with a SHA256 manifest of its files.

Third-party assets

The editors bundle third-party assets under permissive licenses, credited by their upstream ATTRIBUTION files (PhotoCraft, FilmCraft). Notably: the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces (SIL Open Font License 1.1), the Lucide and Feather icon sets (ISC/MIT), spelling dictionary data (SCOWL), and a face-detection model (libfacedetection, BSD-3-Clause).

Required credit for assets/icons/lasso-magnetic.svg: “Magnetic Lasso Tool” by Lil’ Seal (failureiscool), from The Noun Project, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported (CC BY 3.0). The upstream PhotoCraft contributors adapted the icon: they redrew it as a 24 × 24 SVG on PhotoCraft’s toolbar grid, with round-capped strokes in place of the original line weights, so it can be tinted and rasterized like the other toolbar icons. Vidosono hosts that adapted icon unchanged as part of the unmodified PhotoCraft bundle, and does not imply that the original author, The Noun Project, or the ArtCraft team endorses Vidosono or its use of the work.

FilmCraft additionally bundles MIT, Apache-2.0, SIL OFL and CC0 licensed assets. No copyleft (GPL-family) code is distributed by these bundles.

Trademarks

PhotoCraft, FilmCraft and the ArtCraft marks are trademarks of the ArtCraft team; they are not covered by the code licenses. The names appear inside the editors only to identify their origin. Vidosono is an independent project, is not an ArtCraft product, and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the ArtCraft team.

Modifications

Vidosono serves the editor bundles byte-for-byte as released upstream, under versioned paths. No upstream file is modified; integration happens entirely in the wrapper pages around the editors. Upstream ATTRIBUTION files apply to the hosted bundles exactly as published.
